We reached half way point early this morning.  Half way was 1035 nautical miles.  At the moment we are now 970 nautical miles to go!  It nice to be getting closer to Hawaii.

We had our first squall this morning.  There wasn’t any rain, just lots of wind.  It’s unusual to have them in the day, but it was good practice when everyone was awake.  We took down the spinnaker before the squall arrived and put it back up when it passed.  Lot’s of fun.

The sun was our constant companion for most of the day.  It definitely getting warmer.

I hear rumors that we will have a half way party tonight.  Of course, I don’t know any details so I can’t report anything.  Maybe tomorrow :-)
